    We are Culligan of Annapolis, your water technology experts proudly serving central Maryland from Baltimore to Washington, D.C. and all of Southern Maryland. Our dealership specializes in providing water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, water coolers, bottled water, water filtering and softener salt delivery service to area homes and businesses.

    CULLIGAN OF ANNAPOLIS HISTORY

    Culligan has been serving the Mid-Atlantic region for over 50 years. We’re proud to provide exceptional water treatment products and services to Washington D.C., Baltimore MD, Richmond VA, Alexandria VA and the surrounding area. Culligan has had stores in the area since the 1960s, all of which were purchased by the U.S. Water Culligan Group in 2012. Our Dulles VA location has not moved, but our Ashland VA location was moved to Fredricksburg VA in 2013, and our Elkridge MD location was moved to Annapolis MD in 2014.

    ANNAPOLIS AREA WATER PROBLEMS

    Drinking water concerns, including iron water, sulphur water and hard water are the biggest problems in Maryland, but low pH water and arsenic water contamination are also concerns for local residents. Hard water is the biggest problem in Virginia, but high TDS, iron water and sulphur water are also concerns for local residents. Dry, itchy skin, dull and lifeless hair and even green hair are symptoms of these Maryland and Virginia water problems, in addition to spotty dishes and a ring around the bathtub.       The team member/specialist (Deandre) who helped readjust our system provided clear explanations of our equipment, how it works, and resolved an issue with the softening tank. He was diligent in his efforts until the problem was resolved. The filtration system for drinking water works so well and removes all taste from our well water, especially considering its high iron content.

      Jim was responsive, professional, understood our problems and took care of things. Also some pieces of good advice. This service for seniors and those who can't physically handle the process is a relief, as long as it remains affordable. It was a cheery experience.

      Jim Burrill, Branch Manager got me what I needed, namely a rerouting of connector tubing between tanks & changed timing. His tech Ed spent several hours and did an excellent job. There had been a pesky leak that resisted being fixed. Now, all fixed & it was a pleasure to work with Jim.

    • On June 5th, I had a response to a service request. My ultraviolet light had become loose and then broke. The technician, I believe his name is Jason, arrived around 4PM and found he needed an "O" ring. He called his supervisor Gary, who told him to go back to the shop and get the part, not just to reschedule.  So Jason went back to Elkridge, and returned here about 7PM. On his heels came Gary, the supervisor, driving in from Virginia. Now that is impressive! They installed the light and made sure everything was working property.

      It's not that they fixed the problem - I'm sure most of your technicians can take care of such thing. Rather it was their attitude and work ethics that time of the evening that delighted and impressed me. I just wanted you to know these guys were great!

    • I would like to take this opportunity to share with you my thanks and appreciation for the work accomplished today by one of your Technicians, James (last name not captured). James arrived at our home this morning to replace our automatic water conditioner. I was immediately impressed by his neat uniform and confident demeanor. In layman's terms, James explained what he was going to do, the how, and reiterated the benefits of our new system. This was a first in my experience with service personnel. And oh, by the way, after he had completed the work including a full diagnostic check, James cleaned the entire work area; another first for me!

      I know I need not tell you, but I must: in my view, James. knows his job, enjoys his work, and is good at it! Please arrange to send him to our home for our annual system check. Please place a copy of this unsolicited testimonial in James' personnel file; he deserves the recognition.

    • I want to recommend Culligan water very highly as I had gone on vacation for 3 weeks and when I came home I checked the house and found that my water softener had broken and I was about to overflow in my finished basement. It was the day before July 4th and I began to call for help. I called my regular company who said they couldn’t work unit even though my other 3 tanks I had bought from them. All they could tell me is to turn it off and they would have someone call me that could sell me a refurbished one off of Craigslist. He called and wanted $1700.00 and wasn’t insured so my home warranty wouldn’t cover it and they could find no one to come out either and told me I had to find some one. I finally got a number of someone from Culligan who was very nice named Kevin and said he would see what he could do. He called me back and came out right away and made sure everything was disconnected so my basement would not overflow over the holiday.

      After that Robert from Culligan came and said he could sell me a brand new unit for $1780.00 and they were insured and would work with my warranty company so I could be reimbursed for most my costs. He tested my water, set up installation, they came and installed it, put salt in it and it is working fine. Robert is coming out to test the water again and they check to make sure everything is ok. If you need water filters, call Culligan in Fredericksburg!

    • Tommy was out to my house yesterday to diagnose a problem with my water softener and he renewed my faith in your Culligan service team. After a scheduling snafu where someone was supposed to come between 11 and 1, the office sent Tommy out after he finished all his other calls that day, so I know he was working later than he had hoped.  He was so cheery and definitely put the customer first.  “Your water is just as important as my water”, he said.  Niceness only gets you so far, but he also exceeded my expectations in his knowledge, thoroughness, and his desire to give me my money’s worth for the service call charge and more.  He was truly sorry he couldn’t fix the problem because he didn’t have the right parts, but offered to change my filter and test my water.  He made my day and put me in a good mood for the rest of the evening.

      I hope he’ll be the one to come out in 2 weeks to fix the problem, but if he’s not available to, hopefully someone like him can come.  He is a very valuable employee!
